Cheap in Price, Rich in Flavour

I recently visited a local Thai restaurant located down the road from me. I have walked past a thousand times, yet never taken the time to stop and have a look at what it had to offer.

Tucked away in a street off the main road makes it an easy shop to find, and you are not overcome with the pollution of noise from passing traffic.

Chili Sha Sha has a very cliché Thai feel, with tables close together, traditional posters and symbols strategically placed around the room, that’s not to say it is a bad thing.

The staff were very friendly and kind, quick to offer a warm greeting smile as you enter. There was a slight language barrier (as for most staff, English was their second language) but I feel it only adds to the experience of eating at a Thai restaurant.

Chilli Sha Sha has done a great job at getting the ratio of quality to quantity exactly right. The food is incredibly delicious, and you aren't left feeling hungry after (if you are able to finish your meal!). My recommendation is that Pad Thai chicken, it was absolutely bursting with flavour, and the meal was big enough to have for lunch the next day as well.

For a meal this nice and large, you would expect a large price tag to come along with it, but it is quite the opposite in fact. The prices they charge are very inexpensive, which makes it a great place to take the family, or a great meal for someone on a uni student budget!
