'Roma & Co. One of Manly's original espresso bars; a favourite for its Italian style coffee, home made panini, pasta and gelato.'http://hellomanly.com.au/wine-dine/restaurants/276-roma-co

Why hit up Roma & Co
Roma & Co is famous for its Italian style coffee that is unmatched in the Manly area. It also has a wide selection of authentic Italian gelato and baked sweets. The breakfast, lunch and dinner menu provides a unique Italian cuisine with a hint of northern beaches.

The Cons
It gets really really busy. Thats right guys if you were hoping to just pop down for a quick coffee on Sunday morning think again. There is a big demand for coffee so be prepared.

Overall lovely venue that provides a unique and friendly experience.

A Thai Delight

Monkey King Thai Lindfield

Monkey King Thai offers a selection of authentic Thai meals in the heart of Lindfield. Located on the pacific highway and 5 minute walk from the train station this venue is in a prime location for those hoping to enjoy a nice meal without having to go to Chatswood or Macquarie. Described as a venue that presents 'Classic dishes and street food bites served in a cool, brick-and-timber space with a casual feel.' Monkey King is a must do for those living in the Lindfield area.

Pro's
Authentic Thai, chill vibes and good times. The services is first class and food is always presented in the finest way. The restaurant also offers a delivery service which is fast and reliable and only cost an extra $3.

Con's
No alcohol for sale BUT don't stress to much it is BYO wine so you don't have to miss out on your wine with dinner.

Our tip- Try the homemade peanut sauce.

Palm Beach Boat House

The Boat House Palm beach is a medium sized cafe situated on the beautiful Pittwater. As far as natural beauty goes, I highly doubt it gets much better than this. With no surrounding shops and a marvelous location with endless water views and the national park across the bay, it is no wonder this cafe is always so busy!!

Considering the amount of people that visit the Boat House each day, it is remarkable how well mannered, polite, and inviting the staff are. A warm greeting smile from every staff member is always evident when first walking through the doors.

As for the food, although it was relatively expensive to cafes in the surrounding areas, that can be expected in such a position. That's not to say the quality of food is poor, but for the price paid, I personally would of expected more.

For a cafe with coffee orders going through the roof, it would be understandable that coffees would be made in a rush to move on customers. But it is quite the opposite; each individual coffee that has been produced is it's own individual piece of art.

Overall, I was pleased with the food and coffee at the boathouse, combined with a vibrant atmosphere makes this a great dining experience.

Vegan's Best Friend?

Greenhouse Gypsy Mona Vale.

A delicious surprise for all the Vegans out there. Greenhouse Gypsy provides an extensive range of vegan options that cater to all the taste buds. The cafe located in the heart of Mona Vale provides a healthy alternative to the traditional beach style cafes. Greenhouse embrace a plant based menu and offer vegans and vegetarians the taste explosion they are looking for from cafes.

'Using a plant based menu, fresh ingredients and seeking local produce as much as possible, we aim to provide a menu that is health based, diverse and tasty.'
http://greenhousegypsy.com

The Pros
Greenhouse provides a nutritious selection of quality fresh meals for both breakfast and lunch. They also have coco whip which is like a vegans best friend. (Vegan frozen dessert that actually tastes good)

The Cons
No juicy bacon and sausages! Thats right no meat is on the menu so if you are a meat lover then this cafe is not for you. The price of food is also quite expensive due to the quality of ingredients and the freshness of the meals.

The Judgement

Quality venue and worth trying no matter how much you love meat. If you don't eat meat then this is a great option that you don't want to miss out on.

Coffee By The Beach: The Bronze Kiosk

The Bronze Kiosk Mona Vale

Stunning beach side views. Quality food. Breathtaking Coffee.

The Bronze Kiosk is located on Mona Vale Beach and provides a true northern beaches cafe experience. 'Described as a venue providing seasonal, gourmet dishes for brekkie and lunch, in a bright cafe with an open-air dining deck.' (http://www.bronzekiosk.com.au) The Bronze Kiosk provides you with the perfect venue for lunch and breakfast with the family, a business partner and even a job interview.

Why Go Bronze?
The Bronze Kiosk is in prime location with beach side views. Spend the morning sipping away on your half strength skinny latte with half an equal while being engulfed by the beauty of the beach landscape. The staff are super friendly and go out of their way to provide you with an experience you won't forget. The venue provides quality food and coffee and a wide selection of gourmet teas.

The Downsides
While the outdoor open air dining deck is great for those lovely sunny mornings it is not the best when the rain is bucketing down. This means you are either squished up inside or you have to move around the corner to the other two cafes near by. Parking is also an issue with the beachside parking ticketed and restricted to 2 hours.

Overall a great experience on a warm sunny day. But if the clouds are looking a little too dark maybe give it a miss and hit up another great cafe on the northern beaches

The Inch Cafe

The Inch Cafe Mona Vale

The Inch Cafe Mona Vale is in the heart of Mona Vale and a fine location for breakfast, lunch and pleasant cup of Campos coffee. Described as a "Down-to-earth, park side eatery with a rustic-chic outdoor area, serving lunch and brekkie staples." the Inch offers a wide selection of classic beach vibes meals for both breakfast and lunch. While the venue is normally closed of an evening the venue do run some spectacular evening events with live music, fine selection of craft beer and wine for a fabulous night out.

Price range- Mid level

The Pros
The Inch is home to well established and consistently good coffee 'Campos Coffee' which means you are almost certain to have a nice coffee bean to enjoy. The barristers are skilled at their art and provide a unique and to die for cuppa.

The Downsides
The Inch can be really busy and when it is full of people the service can suffer quite severely. They do also run out of their selection of cakes and sweets early in the day leaving you with no option for a sweet bite to eat with your midday or afternoon coffee.

Overall not a bad venue for breakfast, lunch or coffee and cake on the northern beaches

Fujiyama Restaurant Review

Fujiyama Japanese restaurant is located on Lackey St, on the main drag of Summer Hill. It is a small yet cozy dining experience, with rough carved wooden tables and low hanging orange lighting. Softly spoken waitresses personally come to you and greet you as you enter. They are attentive and friendly, without ever making you feel rushed while you make your selection.

The menu is a fusion of traditional Japanese staples – miso, udon and ramen, combined with somewhat wild concoctions of sushi. The food is always fresh and served promptly in large portion sizes. Prices are a little steep, and it is recommended to bring your own wine (or sake!) as the alcohol list is relatively poor for a licensed restaurant.

Overall, Fujiyama is a pleasant dining experience, one frequented by locals, and inner west foodies alike.
